Dr. Umstattd is a Board Certified physician specializing in Facial Plastic Surgery. She has always been drawn to aesthetic medicine with an artistic eye and astute attention to detail.
She grew up in Kansas City, completed a large portion of her training at the University of Missouri, and is now one of only a small handful of female Facial Plastic Surgeons within the Midwest.
She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO while competing as a Division I gymnast. Dr. Umstattd received her medical degree from the University of Missouri, where she graduated with honors as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Awardee. She went on to complete her residency at the University of Missouri in Head and Neck Surgery. During her surgical training, she received the Jerry W. Templer Excellence in Residency Award. She then pursued additional training in cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, and neck during a fellowship under the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
